About Me.

Hello.

Hmm, what can I say about meself...

I guess I'm a pretty average teenage girl about to take the IB exams this May and graduate by the end of the school year. Meaning that I am not average at all. I have changed a lot through out my high school career. Being a senior this year has made me realize about how quickly time passes without you realizing.

The past 4 years traveling in and out of Malaysia has made me quite wary about life. I have been traveling my whole life, actually, however its only these past few years that I am getting tired of it. I understand that it is my dad's job and, as his elder daughter, I should be mature enough to follow along and be with the family. What I really do not like about this kind of lifestyle is that I must leave behind my extended family: my grand parents, my aunties and uncles, my cousins, my cousins babies...

I will miss out on it all.

But...

By the end of the day, I am grateful. Grateful for having the life I have no matter what or who I am missing, or what I want or do not want to do. I am grateful because life could be worse. There are many, many more people in this world that in much worse conditions that mine even though they do not deserve it. They were born in that condition, they live and suffer in that condition, and they die the same way. They're children are most likely to grow up suffering as well. This saddens me.

For this reason, I have decided to give back in return for what this Earth, my family, and Allah have given me by helping those who need help. I have to make the best of this short life we are all living. Time runs way too fast for us to simply string along. We have to grab a hold of it and run with it. It will seem as if minutes can pass like seconds, and hours like minutes. So the days, the months and the years are all what should matter in life because time will make one full circle around you before you realize that death is tapping your shoulder saying, "It is time."

To my generation: Seize the moment. Seize the day.

To the future: By knowing the past, you will know yourself.
